Until you are ready, I will take it FOR you...because "I HAVE paid a price...and I'll keep paying it"...and someday this song will make a whole lot more sense. It was originally a protest against the nuts who promoted the war in Iraq...and while it IS that, it ALSO is a song that speaks of people who have been kicked hard by the world and who refuse to live on their knees just to "get along". I won't. To me, this song is LIFE. I really AM mad as hell and I am NOT ready to back down. LEt this be a warning cry to those who might hurt you or me or those like us. I'm not ready to back down. Someday, I hope you will join me in this...not as an angry man, but as a STRONG man, resolute to never let the haters win even one small victory without paying a price for their hate.

Honey, You've already seen what I've become in the past three months. I've gone from a shy kid who quite honestly, would have smacked you if you tried to kiss me in public on our first date, to a man who can't keep his hands off of you in public. And i do not do it for the "show" rather because it's an expression of my love for you babe. Time will heal the hurt we both have, and time in turn will show others, that what we have is real, and strong. Does it fix the pain thay have caused us? No, but it will help to change their minds, and thoughts on guys like us. I love you Boo Bear, and be well.
