Hats off to a Mother who is doing the right thing!

After recent tirades by my partners mother about his "daring" to come out ot other family members without "her permission", I have to tell you, this video made me really think. I tried to explain to Chris that all people don't act like his Mom currently does and that her reaction and her general bad attitude come from a place of her own sense of failure as a parent...perhaps even "embarrassment".
Mrs. L, if you ever read this, please know that..well...while I find your current behavior detestable, I do hold out hope that someday you will wake up and see the pain you have caused.
You call Chris "selfish" for teling your sister the truth. You makes statements like "You gays have an agenda", to the son you picked out and adopted to raise as your own child.
Is this the way you treat your own child, Pam? The lady in this video has more on the ball and is far wiser than you understand...but someday, I hope you will understand...and I know Chris would love to have his Mom back in his life like in years before he came out and told the world he was gay. Watch and learn, Mrs L. Watch and learn. You will see that it is YOU who has been the "selfish one". I'm hoping you and Chris can make amends and find your way through this as a parent and child should.
